Ran 1/4 first time today
I had a ball running the 1/4 mile today. Couldn't hook up for nothing with the open diff. The only way I could make any time was to roll out for the first 30 feet or so and then get on it gently.
1st pass...17.5 seconds, smoking the tire through 1,2,3 2nd pass...14.7 starting slow, then nailing it. 3rd pass... 15.1, smoked, got off of it and then nailed it again. 4-6th pass...between 14.72 and 14.77 rolling start All these were done with an open differential (no posi) How much quicker do you think it would run with a posi?

low 13's or high 12's maybe
just a rough guess i had a blast my first time dragging a car.... a '66 AMC Rambler with a pretty beefy 350 Chevy/350 turbo and a '87 s-10 open rear with 3:55:1 gears... in the 1/8mile i smoked the tire the whole length and still pulled 66mph and 10's - and beat a 302 mustang with slicks and a posi (saw him do a burn out) and i didn't do one cause i didn't want to ruin my brand new tires...haha !!!!! - what a relief...didn't want to get shown up by a 302 stang...i don't mind guys with F**d's - just 80's-present stangs...can't stand them so your def. not alone in the "one-wheel-wonder" club

Someone could probably give you a good idea if you post your splits and 1/4 trap speed?

I'm hoping to get in the low 14's. The LT1 is practically stock...no headers, but it does have a cleaned up intake system compared to a camaro. Shift points are set below the rev limiter, so I might could get a little more out of programming. I was using premium unleaded, so the spark retard was probably not kicking in.
Here were the other times and speed. Time 1: 2.137 Time 2: 9.311 ET: 14.728 MPH: 89.705
