Post GM versus Reproduction Inner Grills?

Anybody bought a reproduction Inner Grill for 71-72 models. How do they differ in quality from the GM ones. I know the catalogs all say they are "exact" reproductions, but I'd rather take the word from someone that has seen them side by side.
