Jason, realy it isn't as clean as it looks in these pictures. It probly could be restored, but I realy need the parts for my two 67s.... The BB 402, front/rear air, power steering, front inner roof panel, drivers side A pillar, and lots of other small parts will go into my panel..... The front disk brake crossmember, power brakes, possi and possi rear end will go into the 67 C20. I may put the front clip on one of my 72 4X4s.
ebfabman, The angle that the Panel is setting at makes it tough to see the unpainted Cowl induction hood I put on it.... I have been doing some work on it but mostly collecting parts. I think that I have about everything for it now and it's just a matter of doing it. I have a 72 1/2 ton burb chassis in the shop that I bought just for the panel and I will be painting, lowering, installing the BB 402 and etc getting it ready for the panel. I need to take the panel to get the inner roof section and drivers side A-piller replaced then the firewall painted Cadilac white diamond so I can start installing the air stuff from the 72 burb on it. Thanks for asking. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

I sent that poor old truck to the crusher I think sometime in '99.
The guage bezel, and the radaitor are in my 69 now. I also saved the booster, and the p/s gear box. I saved the spindles as well. I had blowen the engine, it needed a clutch, and a new master. And at the time, i was not addicted to these trucks like I am now, plus I was not too good at turning wrenches then. : ( |

Don't feel too bad Jason...imagine the rust on it today if it was still your daily driver.

Ya know the kicker of it that if I could turn wrenches then, I would most likely still be drivin it today.......
