Bigger gas tank???

Have any of you converted to a larger tank? If so what did you use. I have to believe that there is something simple.
Thanks,
Al

I installed mine a bit different. I have a body lift so I mounted the tank 2" higher by relocating the mounting tabs up.
The tank comes with all the hardware, straps, sending unit and all. They don't 'pack' the tank when they ship it so UPS scratched the hell out of it so I had to re-paint it. I think I also had to remove the rear crossmember cuz I brought the whole tank up. I put it in about 1.5years ago but I would guess it is still the same. The tank has internal baffels and stuff like that and I think I paid like 400 but it is a hellov alot better than the stock 21gal tank.
Later
Burt

I'm also interested in using a later model 31 gallon tank. The filler neck on these tanks in on the passenger's side instead of the driver's. Anyone try this swap?

I recal reading that someone did swap in a GM31gal tank, I belive they simply turned the tank around to line up the fillerneck then straped it to the frame.....
