relocating heater box

is there anyway i can relocate the heater box/fan in my engine compartment? like buy an aftermarket one that mounts under the dash or somthing? i want to clean up the firewall and i like that smooth look. also i noticed early chevelles, novas, ect dont have em on the firewall. where are they located?

Flex-a-lite makes a Mojave heater that can be tucked up under the dash. It runs off the engine coolant sytem also.
