I have one in the process of being installed. I have estimated that I will have a minumum of $2,000.00 in geting it in and every thing working great. My truck is a 3spd.standard, so the column will have to be changed. I am going with a late model GM from the salvage so I can get tilt, cruise, brite - dim and key relocation.
The harness is costly at around $6 to 7 hundred but to get everthing working right, its worth it. I am trying to save money by using my radiator and a salvage electric fan, but lots of little things keep adding up, fuel tank, hoses, lines and drive shaft. There are lots of good things going for it when you finish, like power, fuel milage, and drivability.
