differences between the 60-66 frames and 67-72 frames?
hey all,
well from what i am told the 60-66 frames are pretty simular to the 67-72 frames but i have never seen or heard of a side by side comparison. would someone be kind enough to cure my curiosity with a couple of photos and or a tidbit of information? thanks all, ondrew p.s. hey at least this isin't another will my 80's something chassis fit my 60's something cab? question =) |

I'm not expert in the older series, but I believe '63+ is the same frame and that '62 and down are an "X" frame setup.
We've got a few pre-67 folks on the board... hopefully they can clarify.

Cab mounts are diff I believe, I know they are from 62-63.

Yeah the 60-62 frame is the x-frame and the 63-66 is the same type as the 67-72 but the cab mounts, radatior mounts and the front bumper brackets are different.
