Look what just dropped into my lap!
Just out of luck of the blue on craigslist, a Warn Classic winch mount bumper for a 67-72 for $50!!! Discontinued and not available new.
Should pick it up today, will get it powdercoated when I do the roll cage. Gonna have to figure out how to mount the front 71-72 turn signals though...

Very cool. Can you cut some rectangle hole for the turn signals?

Warn rep was really cool... Said any modern day roller fairlead and winch will bolt right up. He was even excited that I scored one, and was more then willing to help, he just asked that I buy a Warn winch when the time comes. He is scanning and emailing me installation instructions!
Said it's the same bumper that is still in production, they just discontinued the brackets like 14 years ago.

Did Burt cut holes for his turn signals? His look rounded, like off-the-shelf lights.

Warn only provided mounting brackets for lights to mount on top of the bumper, and it looked pretty crappy IMO. Who knows, maybe Burt just glued some lenses onto the bumper to keep the heat off, but otherwise he definitely cut holes for them.
I am going to cutout for the factory rectangular lenses, and probably just support and RTV the stock lense assemblies in place.

I found a winch at fourwheelparts- Mile Marker is having a promotion on an 8000lb winch (remote solenoid) w/ roller fairlead and cover for $399 through the end of March!
Soon as Uncle Sam comes in, that thing is on order!

Is it legal to put a Mile Marker winch on a Warn bumper?

Boy if there were legalities involved with cross vendor installations, I would be guilty on all charges...
Look at my suspension for example- Rancho Shocks Tuff Country 6" Front Springs Superlift 4" Rear Springs Rough Country 2" Rear Blocks ProComp Steering arm Prothane shackle bushings Just the way I do business I suppose... Piece by piece.

Burt4x4's bumper is not a warn bumper. From another message board he identifies it as "The bumper I have was made in 1999 by http://www.kenmtn.com/ I had it custom fit to my application."
