My 71 is running and driving but the 68 has quite a way to go.
It maybe done for in time for my 50th anniversary.

It was running pretty good until I took it apart. As for driving I think I put somewhere between 15-20miles on it in the past almost two years

p.s. thats 15-20 miles not 15k-20k

Runs & drives good enough to pull it in and out of the garage, that's all I know so far.

I tweak on the engine from time to time trying to squeeze a lil more hp and mpg. Then drive to work everyday to see how well I've done.

Yes for now with 115000 miles on it, only smokes between shifts (for now). Getting ready to put in new cutom made tach and gauge dash, all new heater parts, new door panels, new headliner, new radio, blazer tank and fuel filler (not sure where on the filler neck will have a 67 bed on it) redone and painted bed, Sliding back window.

Runs fine. I normally drive it everyday.

It is currently not driving, as I am awaiting a rebuilt t-case: the old one is self-destructing internally.

*sigh*

I miss my Truck!

Mine is running and driving and is legal. It has been sitting for about 2 months or so, just move it from outside to inside to work on it.

My 72 runs good, driven daily 30+ miles. Look rough, 4 different colors and rust.

....

NO......my power steering isn't finished.....and my brakes are not bled yet. Damn.......If i only lived in San Antonio where my truck is, so I can mess with it whenever......it really sux that I have to pay a mechanic to do alot of things that I can and should do myself...but as far as being in San Antonio, I don't have the time, and my dad advises me not to touch anything, that he knows I can finish it, but this mechanic is being paid, and he'd better finish his job. Now, he is a great mechanic, did a super overhaul on my 307, but because of the flooding all his other jobs have been pushed back like two to three weeks, and I'm guessing he's trying to catch up. The only place he could get to was my place, but even then it would just start raining. I'm just being patient and collecting my small little parts and just waiting until its ready
