That looks Great!
It may just be my monitor, or the pic, but are the dash pad and steering column a brown, or black? I ask because I am getting close to decision time on interior colors and seats. I will be painting the original light red, and was considering a brown/tan combo instead of black. JB |

Are you sure on the part number for the tach
ATM-2301 is external and ATM-2302 is internal If external mind giving me a quick note on the installation |

It is an external type. We cut the lense and made a mounting bracket for the back side of the cluster.

Really sharp. I'm thinking of getting an aftermarket tach also. Been reading that the originals aren't very accurate to start with and even worse with electronic ignition. Be interested if you could show us how you did it.

1--From front of dash scribe a circle on lens in center hole (when you cut it out make it slightly larger). 2--next cut the same size hole in inner green bucket. 3--cut hole in back cover that the tach will fit thru (it will be a little larger then the other 2 holes as the tach tapers out a little ). 4-put the dash back together (screw here and there) and set the tach in hole. 5--measure from back pan to top of tach (where screw is). 6--make bracket as shown in red on photo (make slightly shorter so when you tighten screws (yellow in photo) it will tighten tach against bezel). 7--drill hole in bracket (blue screw in photo--screw will have to be a little longer then the one in tach). 8--You can now put everything back together. 9--any questions feel free to ask. 10--almost forgot--you will need a tach printed circuit (you will also need to make the hole in printed circuit larger by cutting out more of the blank green area).
