Power brake question

I tried the search but couldn't find the answer. I have a 72 parts donor truck for my 69. I have everything but the booster and brake pedal. The PO of the 72 gave me a booster (pictured) off of a 73-80. How do I make this work or should I try to get a booster and pedal off of a 72? Will a 72 pedal bolt onto a 69?

You just need the booster, your pedal will work. Well you do need the rod that connects the pedal and the booster.

Personally, i wouldn't try swappin parts from one generation to another. Way too many variables.
If you DO decide to do it, start off very carefully and make sure your insurance is paid. (both auto and life)

Krue have you done this swap yourself? I have the non power brake pedal. I am swapping the disc parts and the rearend next weekend but I could try just the booster first.

Just an FYI, you can buy new boosters for these trucks at Autozone or Advanced Auto for around $77.00 with a core.

I haven't added discs yet, but I did put a booster on it. Basicallly I just unbolted the m/c from the firewall, inserted booster and bolted everything back up. Had to adjust the rod between the booster and pedal, and the booster and m/c rod. The hardest part was adjusting the stupid brake light switch.
