You can plug the intake no problem, but I am unsure of plugging the water pump. I kinda suspect that the pressure would build up too much onless you were to drill some fairly large holes in the t-stat.

My truck has AC. One hose runs from the intake manifold to the heater core. The other hose runs directly from the radiator to the heater core. The hole on the side of the water pump is plugged. I don't see why you couldn't just plug both holes.

You should continue to "loop" it To let the water complete the circulation.

Use the plugged hole on top of the water pump, they make a hose to run from there to the intake.. Then plug the side hole...
But you CAN plug both of the hose outlets/inlets. The circulation is through the Radiator hoses... I took my heater box out tonight, I had a leak ( solder broke loose) Man that sure gives a lot more room to work on the passenger side of the engine... It sure is a thought to not put it back on.. So this will be next winters project.... |

Today I will be changing my heater hoses. The one runs to the radiator now. I'm planning on changing it to the pump. I was told the pump sucks from there and pumps from the intake.????? Hope this works.
