Best way to sand/paint some rallys???
Well, I think I finally found some 15x8 rallys here locally to me (took some really hard looking believe it or not, but @ $15 a piece---pretty good price?). Anyways, no caps or rings, but I hope to find them later. They are in very good condition---some surface rust. What is the best way to sand these as well as the paint you'd recommend. I just plan to "rattle can" paint 'em if I can....not sure what color---probably chevy rim silver, but might go with a red (chevy bright red) to match my paint on the truck......
IDEAS all???

I would suggest you get them sandblasted. Here in Indy you can get them done for around $5 ea. I tried some rattle can from the parts store and it dulled out and yellowed in about 6 months. I have good things about the Eastwood paint.

Can you measure the back spacing on the rims? The stock 15x6 are 3.5

Dupli-color makes some wheel paint that is supposed to be ceramic. I bought some at O'reilly's and it has held up really well. It is an actual wheel paint, and the color (silver) is pretty close to original.

Ditto beaterC10's comments on the Eastwood paint. Its a little pricey, but it held up very well on my Nova over the years. You have to clear coat it but they also sell the clear coat in rattle cans.

I got my Duplicolor Wheel Paint at Walmart along with a cheap sandblaster to hook up to my compressor. Had to get the Wheel Clear Coat from checkers, walmart just had the regular clear, not the wheel clear.
