You need real low rearend gears 411 or 488, something that will launch you with enough force to drive you back into the seat! Side pipes with exhaust that exits in front of the rear wheels, headers with cutouts, take out the front fender wells so you can see the engine from the side, fuzzy dice, playboy emblems in the rear window! I always thought flames looked hotter than stripes, more rat rod than stock.

I like the old SS,Z-28,Ralley stripes on a truck. Even thought about paint em' on my S-10. But one thing I've noticed on others is they got to be right!! Width, length etc. To narrow or wide just don't look right. Stripes don't belong on the top or under the bumpers. I've never seen a Z-28 like that. I would get the specs and paint em' right.

Eight track tape player with Pioneer 6x9 speakers.... and a power booster/equalizer hanging under the dash! Jack the rear end up so you can fit some extra wide Mickey Thompson tires on Cragar S.S. rims back there. If you have leaf springs, you do this with extra long shackles.

Lots of great suggestions still coming! I love this! Oh yeah, Jeffnstef, that is an awesome pair of chevys! I did a slight hockey stick rendering, but I think I still like the lower stripe the best.

I tried, but it doesn't work real well when I'm using MS Paint to modify my pics. It looked kinda funny on a longbox with the short stripe, but I bet it would look good on a shortbox.

To me the side stripes on a long bed make it look about 300 feet long. They look good on a short bed, On a long bed you need something to break up the huge length of the side. Some type of design or zig zag line to make it seems shorter would look better if you wanted to put something on the side.

I was thinking about that too, but it looks like my best option so far is to paint the lower stripe. I've also been kicking the idea of a Yenko stripe across the upper side instead, but will have to make a rendering of it too.
