2wd transmission question?

my question is ......my blazer has a th-350 in it(1981).It is a long tail shaft one but i think that it has been swaped by the PO.Anybody know if the tailsahft is the 6"or 9"one?thanks for the help!!

I'll be watchin this post as i have the same question...my 79 came minus drivetrain save the driveshaft...so i have no idea what the proper tail shaft length should be...

I found one for parts that i may buy just to answer this question!!!!!

Should be 9" shaft....long shaft
