WTB: 69-72 Blazer Half-Cab

My dad is thinking he wants a half-cab for his 2wd blazer and the couple people here in town that I've talked to don't want to sell theirs, so I thought I'd see if anyone has one her or knows where one is.

You can buy new, but they are extremely expensive, a used one is kind
of like tow hooks, they are rare, expensive, and hard to come buy.

New link - http://www.composidyne.com/

Here is another site making reproductions. They are around a grand also (from what I have heard).
http://www.myrodshop.com/blazer.html

You might try contacting either or both of them. I can't imagine sales have been very good for them judging by how few of the board members have purchased them. They might make you a deal.

Half tops are few and far between. Every now and then, they show up for sale, but someone usually jumps on them quickly.

Where is the one in Seattle? I've never seen one running around the area with a half cab, of course, it is a large area. There was a complete Blazer for sale someplace around Bellingham or Burlington with a half cab top. It was(is?) listed on collectorcartrader.com. Maybe you could talk him out of it.

I had a buddy that had a 2wd stepside that looked just like the one in your avitar back in the early '90s. His wasn't quite that low and it had coke bottle mags on it. It was root beer brown and sounded sweet.

It is the one on collectorcartrader.com, although my dad has left 4 messages about the blazer and still hasn't gotten a return call...lol.

And thats what I thought about putting on the stepside for daily driving were some 17" coke bottles....heh, I wanted to borrow my neighbors 17" coke bottles to see what they looked like (he has ironically a 1980 SWB that is cordova brown) but they are all 17x8's... btw bouncy, my highschools car show is next saturday(may 14) and I've been trying to convince Ryan, the guy with the 2 2wd blazers, to break one of them out of the garage because he said he was going to cruise through it. SO if he gets one of them out of garage then I'll get a couple of good pics for you.

The coke bottles looked good on my buddies truck, but I think they were only 15" wheels. The rears were wide though.

Definately snap some pics of your friends 2wds! We all like to see pics of nice Blazers.
