Bought my Serpentine setup today!
Got my serpentin esetup today at the Pull-a-Part in Nashville. Got it all for $80. After all that I hope it works and is the right setup. Thanks to bisquick, Putter, and Gman69, for their help. The only problem I have is on the second pic is the small cut on the PS Pulley. I guess I'll have to find another one.
Thanks guys, Bryan

If I am not mistaken look at a new one and it will probably be the same. For some reason I use to encounter these in collision repairs and we thought the same thing and after we bought a new one we noticed the same mark. Check and make sure though, I could be wrong about this but it's what I remember.

The AC compressor side looks like the one I bought but for some reason the power steering side looks different. It shouldn't matter though if it came off an 8-cylinder GM. You will probably need to drill and tap a 3/8" X 16 hole about 1/2" deep in the passenger side head for the bolt hole just under the AC compressor. Great find for $80; these setups typically bring $200 or more.

you are using original year p/s gear box?that pump will have o-ring fitting in back of it,and gear box will have flare type fitting.change out fitting in back of pump to older style if so.your changing w/p and fan both to reverse rotation also right?sure is alot of work just to have serp set-up,and i don`t think it is very beneficial, but, that`s my opinion.good luck!

After seeing George's(Gman69) at Pigeon Forge I wanted one. It was just a nice clean look and gave it a newer look also. I got it off a 4.3 V6 Blazer. Bisquick said that's what he got his off of. I have no idea how to put it on, but when I don't have a truck right now I figure it out later.

Are you saying I need to go back and get the fan?

yeah, the fan is a reverse rotation as well.
I am always hearing people say that you can change the fittings from the back of a power steering box. How do you do that? As far as I can tell, the fittings are moulded right into the housing of the box... Do you just pull the whole top of and put an o-ring style top on or something?

Bryan
Go with an electric setup like george and putter's. It'll look a lot cleaner and no worries about shroud clearance.

Bill,
I'm thinking about that Nissan setup that is over on the FAQ page about the Altima and Stanza's. I'll have to see if I can find one at the pull-a-part

Both the fan and water pump are reverse rotation.
The fans usually (there are lots of different setups) will not fit our shrouds, you will need a big block fan shroud.

It just looks better and is probably more efficient. Here's the link to some people who've done it-
