heater / ac blower problem!!!
Help!!! Does anyone have an idea what to look for in my 72 4x4? A couple of weeks ago , while running the AC on high, the high speed on the blower quit working. I could smell that " burnt wire" smell from under the dash. I hooked up a blower switch from another heater control, and still no high speed. Where to go from here? Thanks

There is a high speed blower relay above the passenger cowl vent just behind the dash attached to the upper portion of the inside a/c box. It will have a three wire harness attached to it and a very important ground wire
It is alot easier to see with the glove box liner out. I think that if this is your issue the fan will work on low medium and then on high it will still turn but more like low speed. You might want to check the harness to your fan switch also as they are prone to melt and cause problems. You may even have a fan motor problem, but I would check the above items first. Good luck
