seat installation

I was wondering, has anyone installed a set of newer truck seats into the cabs of their 67-72 pickup (the seats with the belt integreated into the seat frame). Was it a fairly straight forward process or was cutting/fabricating of new seat brackets required?

Did the final product make for more/less leg and head room.

Lastly, does the gas tank need to be relocated for this process?

Pics?
Thanks

Have an '04 Buick leather split dual-electric bucket combo w/ center armrest/console & built-in seatbelts that I'm planning to install, & have the same questions (& more) myself. Especially wiring issues. Mine has two big wires (no doubt hot & ground) & about 20 little ones to each seat's snap quick-connector module. Fortunately, I got the connector for each seat at the boneyard. Little wires are computer auto-positioning sensors, heat, etc, I suppose.

Here's hoping you/we get some good responses on this one ....
