I ordered a stainless line kit once and it looked just like the pic you posted.
Got the sound file, thanks for the consideration.

We tried, could not make it work in the small amount of space on a
Blazer, my p/u had one, w/ the transfer case I was a little limited, I
also was limited because of where I wanted my tail pipes to exit, we
had to move the muffs forward just for the tail pipes to exit there, I
could have ran a H-pipe, but I would have had to bend it kind like a
u under the drive shaft, and from the rear of the truck it would have
been really noticable, plus exhaust rule #101, the less bends, joints,
etc... the better flow, the x-pipe would have made us run some of
the bends in the 75-90 degree range to make them work, plus we
would have had to peice more pipe together to do it, I'm still happy
even though we could not do it, I was worried a lil about back pop
through the muffs after flooring it and letting off, but these don't

*In pic #072 look how close the muffs are to the transfer case

The pic attached shows the only place that was left for a H-pipe,
and it would have hung down about 5-7 inches lower than muffler
if you were looking at it through the side view of the Blazer, yuck

Yup, that was the only place for one, but with the 6" rear lift I was
afraid mine was going to hang down even lower than yours does

Yeah, I figured you'd get around to telling me yours was bigger. J/K

When I asked, I figured there was good reason.

Nice install, looks great.

Kool looking exhaust system, looks pretty damn good. Under your Blazer is pretty damn clean compared to mine. I will take a sound file of it if you get a chance. Or better yet I PM you for one.

Thanks to YUKON JACK for the link, Do you wanna hear her

It was in my garage so it has that tunnel sound to it, u get the idea

Starts at about 750 rpm's (Idle) then I ran her up to around 2500
rpm's & held it a bit, then I rompedon her repeatedly in the 5-6k
rpm range, and the finally back down to a idle, lasts about 1 min.
(Kinda sounds like a top fuel dragster, minus a few thousand HP.)

Pretty Pipes

Good work. Verrrrry shiny. It's a little disheartening for me to see that the underside of your blazer is much much cleaner than the top side of mine. It gives me something to shoot for. Thanks for the pics.

Hey Luv...

sounds great...may I ask about how much they wanted to do that? I went to a shop the other day to get a quote on my truck, and they said 500 bucks, and my jaw hit the floor. I called Advance Auto and they said that they can't get the bolt in exhaust like they can on new cars for my old truck...so it looks like I am stuck with a shop. I am just curious if prices are the same across the country, or whether it is just high here for me, and maybe I should consider driving a little bit to have it done...

Just for an idea from my system on my K20 I ran 3" pipes from the collectors to an x-pipe that I supplied, then 2 1/2" to the mufflers that I supplied then 2 1/2" to the back of the truck and it was $300. More than I had anticipated but they did a great job.

Mine was $500, but if I had used regular mufflers (Not Stainless) it would
have been in the $400 range, BTW, the same shop sells flows, and it was
the same price either way, not to metion most shops use strap hangers,
these heavy duty ones are around $8 a piece his cost (We used 4 of em)
that is out the door cost (cash) w/ tax it would've been closer to $550

I can't get it to work. I was going to post a sound bite awhile back for someone wanting to hear a gear drive but couldn't figure out how.

Yea, I know, took her to the dragstrip last night, NO I did not run it ,
took me 3 hours this morning to clean all the drool off her, even the Ford
mustang guys were impressed with it, my bud, who did the exhaust, was
busy pointing out the exhaust to everyone, I think we used 5 gallons of
gas last night and it never moved, everyone wanted to here her run.
