Help, How do I remove my guages?
I'm in the process of tearing apart my truck and I am stuck trying to tke the guages out. I removed all of the screws around the perimeter on the guage panel. How do I get the choke, wiper, and light knobs off? what else is holding the guages onto the dash?
Thank You Guys!! JHickson6

You'll need to take a small screw driver or pick and pull back on the tab (just at the base of the knob's) then remove the 2 retaining nuts for the choke/headlight switch.
If you have a small mirror you can pull the headlight switch on and look behind the knob, you will see a tab sticking out around the base of the knob. |

The wiper knob has a set screw. Unscrew it with a small screwdriver, loosen it so you can pull the knob off. For the lights, pull it out to parklights, reach up behind, push the tab down and pull out. I had the same problem a few weeks ago.

OH! your taking the whole dash out?? I believe these are pinch welded to the cab and make up part of the windshield sealing surface.
