I know a guy that ran a edelbrock 600 performer on his 460 ferd one ton, and it ran like a champ. It ate gas like a mother but it ran great.
I say put it on and if it feels like it's doggin out on ya go bigger.

I would call Holley and Edelbrock in order to get a ballpark idea of what to use. They make em and should know how to use them. I do agree with Ogier on the 600cfm Universal. I have a manual choke and was told to get a different carb. This one was free and new in the box and ran like he!!. Too bad i wrecked that car. I am putting it on my mild 350 when it is done.
