Cab lift points?

OK folks; I did some searching and I’m not coming up with anything on removing the cab. I’m trying to figure the easiest and best way to pull the cab by myself.
Where should I lift from that won’t screw it up? I don’t have a couple of 25ft long straps… I cleaned and painted the front section of the frame and now I can’t leave the rest like it is. I didn’t want to do more than necessary to get it running but ya’ll know how it goes…

I like using two chain falls to pick the cab off of the frame. On the rear, you can use a couple of straps hooked to the cab rails. I use cardboard to protect the back of the cab. If it is the bare cab you can use the two 3/8" upper fender attaching weld nuts. In the picture I pulled the cab and fenders as an assembly so I used two 5/16" locations on the radiator support for anchor points.

There are other ways to pick the cab off, but this is what we do.

Well this is what I did, however It involves laying on your back to get it done.....unbolt the two cab supports on one side and jack that side up a couple of inches which gives you just enough room to do the painting. Finish one side and then move onto the other. A little crude, but it worked for me. I didn't have any way of lifting the whole cab off, so that's how I did it.

Thanks folks! Those give me some ideas. I wouldn’t have tried lifting from the roof edge if I hadn’t seen it. Now I think I can come up with a shade tree way of doing it with the tractor or a big ol oak tree! I need to remove it to sand blast the frame and cab bottom so raising it slightly of the rails wouldn’t give me enough room.
