can i use in my 72 c-10? i have read many articles where people have used buckets from small foriegn cars but the all look like you would have to fab. quite a bit. not looking for perfect bolt in, hell i own a drill. is there anything that i could just set in place and drill me some bolt holes?

dodge vans thru the mid to late 80's used these types of buckets, they're the same basic frames as used in the 71-72 chevy pickups.they run less than $25 each in the pull-and save by me . taken to a local upholstery shop for some foam reworking and new covers they'll look real close to the factory seats at a fraction of what the resto-guys are asking. you can simply cut the van base to the proper height and bolt in

I followed Putter's lead and used the second row seats from a Tahoe/Suburban (circa 1999).
Some pics in this thread Pretty easy install.
