How hard to convert from dual tanks to single..
tank? May be buying a bed with single fuel door and mine has the dual doors. I also never fill up the passenger side tank anyway. What all would be involved besides the obvious of removing the tank itself?

I would assume just removing the extra fuel lines, switch, and misc items all related to dual tanks. You might want to plumb new fuel lines to eliminate any extra mess under the truck...and this will help for future trouble shooting, not only for yourself, but for possible future owners of the truck as well.
You might even be able to sell your tank, brackets, straps, wiring and switch and put a little extra money in your pocket.

My '86 has dual tanks & before I bought it they changed to a single tank bed. I still have the 2 tanks though, I can even fill up the 2nd (under the bed side) if I want. Never have but at least it's there if I ever need it.....;-)
