87 Blazer T-Case Questoin.

I'm looking at buying a blazer from a buddy of mine and what I as wondering is the t-case in it is full time 4x4 would I just need to replace the t-case with one that has like the 2 hi, 4 hi and 4 low. Or is there more in it then that? It's a 5sp v6 if that helps at all?

This a fullsize blazer or s-10?
Either way it should have the NP208 part time aluminum chain driven t-case.
If it is a fullsize and has the auto hubs on the front axle i would swap them out to warn manual hubs..
if its an s-10.. I'll be straight with ya....I have no clue
