Rear end mearurement

Can someone please tell me the differetial measurement from the outside of one drum to the other on a 67-72

Inside of the backing plates measure 55 3/4" on the 67-69, (some 70's) and on the 71-72, (some 70's) it is 57 1/4". The differential between the two is 1 1/2" . The 71-72 axle shafts are 3/4" longer than the 67-69. (The 70's rear end can be either way).

I would have to remove a wheel to get the outside measurement and if you need the measurement I can take wheel off later.

Thanks Jim, i didnt realise there were so many differences, the problem is i don't have a diff at all and was wanting to put a 9 inch ford unit in, you can see my ol truck here
