88 Dually old body and 88 dually new body spindles? same?
Are the 1988 Dually (old body) and 1988 Dually (new body) spindles the same same? I guess the question is, they are the same year but different bodies, are suspensions the same? I have 88-98 dually drop spindles wondering if theyd work on my 88 old body crewcab dually.

The 1981 to 1991 one ton duallys ( and Suburbans) are the old square body style and chassis.
The wheel bearings in the front are the same. I checked. Check www.rockauto.com check and see if the spindle part numbers are the same. If they are, you are in business. Some chassis stuff will interchange. Just my .02 CCDually Last edited by GMC1tondually4dr; 07-01-2005 at 10:22 PM. |

I just did a search at www.car-part.com. They make a distinction between "C" and "R" type trucks for '88. I get different hits depending on which I choose, so I suspect they are different.
