65? Chevy 4X4 value?
I seen a rusty Chevy 4X4 in the woods, either 64, 64, or 66 vintage.
The box and cab are pretty well shot. It does have an engine, but I'm guessing it's not the correct one, as the valve covers are blue. (shouldn't this vintage be orange?) I don't know if it runs. I was kind of interested in it because of the 4X4 drive train. Was 4X4 a factory option on Chevy trucks of this vintage? What's something like this worth? Thanks. |

They did make a 4x4 in '66 at least, I had a buddy 20 years ago that had one. They make a sweet looking machine.

4x4 was an option in those years. The drivetrain isn't all that desirable or valuable though, and I wouldn't want to be in it over $300 myself.
