The grills are different, the grill from a 69-72 GMC truck is the same. (Actually there are some differences in years but they will all fit)

The front fenders for the GMC Jimmy is the same as 68-72 GMC trucks or 68 chevy trucks (the 67 will fit but doesn't have the side markers) The hoods will all fit from chevy or gmc from 69-72 (only difference is the badging) The hood from a 67-68 truck will fit IF you use the grill from a 67-68 GMC and the hood latch is different.

All the fleetside tailgates will work but if you want GMC letters they are harder to find.

Just remember, alot of the parts from the trucks are exactly the same, or can be modified to fit. Heater cores, ac, running gear is all truck stuff.

Good luck and have fun, Rg

Don't forget that GMC has a different core support...

Thought I saw on the board someplace that the GMC front fenders were actually different than Chevy.

Iceman, I saw your truck at the show in Snohomish. Lookin' good. You were the only 67-72 representative.

The 68-72 GMC front fenders are the same as a 68 chevy front fender, the trim used is different.

I was actually a little disappointed in the show, most of the cars were ones that had been there in the past, but I guess you can expect that from a local show. They had tough competition because GoodGuys was going on in Puyallup.

Your truck looked nice. I like the blue. It made a nice representative of our era. Are you going to the show at the XXX this Sunday? There is also a show in Kirkland.
