Road trip a success!!!!
First of all, thanks to all of the advice you guys gave me. The trip went off without a hitch. Well ok, the truck wasn't as good as I remember it. the box supports are shot, and there is some rust in the fenders, but I think they will work. (Yes, its a long step!!!!) The cab is in great shape. All of the glass is good, no cracks. The front end is crunched, yet the grill seems to have been saved. ('68, if anyone is interested) It has what looks to be a factory grill guard (originally a forest truck). Full guage package (ex. for tach). It also has a 327 engine,(stuck)Sorry so long, I'm a little excited. I think I need to learn how to weld. Which is the easiest to pick up? Thanks again, the board is way cool.
Mark
