Can anyone help me out with seatbelt info.
Just bought a 72 blazer. Already had a 71 C-10.
Anyway the blazer arrived without any seatbelts installed. The front 2 were in a cardboard box but there was nothing for the bench in the back.
Where do the back seat belts get installed?
Does anyone have any ideas for shoulder or a harness belt as this truck may not have the roof on very often.
Pictures would be helpful.

I believe the bolt in the same spot as the rear legs of the seat. The centers go to the center rear leg. I never run the rear seat as I haul stuff sometimes and have no kids.

First, welcome to the board. That is a nice looking Blazer (the trucks nice too). Please fill out your profile so we know where you are located. Ya never know if a board member lives right around the corner from you with the parts or help you need.

The rear seat belts had a few different configureations. If your seat has four rear legs, the belts bolt to the large nut on the legs. If you only have two, the outside belts bolt to the nuts in the legs and the inside belts bolt to the floor. If it bolts to the floor, there should be a plastic "boot" that covers the bolt area. There are three belts across the back seat.

Your hard top may have a spot for shoulder belts to bolt up, but not too many people trust bolting the belts to the top and makes it so you can't remove the top. One member (maybe TonyP?) created some brackets to mount shoulder belts to his roll bar. They were machined out of aluminum. It looked slick. Some have changed the front seats to newer styles with integrated shoulder belts. I've also seen in the back of some magazines, a company that says they retro fit shoulder belts into class car seats, but I've never checked any further than that.

Here's a question for you... I have the four legs on the back of my rear seat... just finished putting new covers on it. I can't remember now if the belts with the buckles on them go to the outsides of the seat or the inside..??? I have them on the inside now to match the front seats.

Mine run every other one, starting with a buckle (the buckle has the button and I"m calling the other side the latch because I don't have a clue what it is called) on the driver's side. So from driver's side to pass - 1. buckle 2. latch & buckle 3. latch & buckle 4. latch. In the picture above, you can see the latch hanging down from the #3 position with the buckle going up between the seat cushion and back (the tail is hanging down too). The far side is the #4 postion latch.

I'm guessing that is how mine was from the factory since so little has been touched on this truck, but ya never know... The belts that go in the two center holes on the floor have a more sever "bend" in them so they angle up to the seat. The ones mounted on the outside feet are a lot flatter.
