Oh Crap!!!
I bought a Flywheel for my 95 350 Engine that was going to be mated to the factory 3 speed (69) and the flywheel bolts don't line up to the clutch, do I need to order for a flywheel for a 69 350 or a different one for a 95?

I believe you either need to re-drill the flywheel to match the clutch, or get a new clutch that matches the flywheel. I had the same problem and just had to get a new clutch. However, being that there is quite an age difference between the two, make sure hte clutch also fits on the tranny.

Is the crank the same on the 95 and a 69 on the 350?

Wait a second... Isn;t there a whole internally ballanced externally balanced thing? Cableguy steered me right when I was going through harmonic balancer issues...

If you are running the stock 68-72 bell. you need a 168 tooth flywheel , to fit the 95 smallblock. GM # 10105832....14" dia,86 up sb, 11 or 11.85" dia clutch. Thats right out of the 99 parts book L

Don't know what size clitch you need, since my 72 C-30 and 465 manual tranny took an 11"

Looked up a 68 flywheel and it shows 168 teeth. So yor starter should be good. The flywheels list a 10.5" clutch and another flywheel for both a 11" and 12" clutch.
Oh and 69 longhorn is da man!!! |
