Stepside progress

Finally got my box wood in today. Made it myself out of solid Hickory. Have to see how it holds up compared to the Oak . Slowly getting this thing back to driveable. Also got the engine running , so now gotta bleed the brakes as she don't stop so well. Getting closer anyway!!

Not sure what tailights are off of as picked them up new at a swap meet. I think they are generic or maybe for boat trailer I don't know but they have the backup lights in them so they will work for now. They bolted right up to my original brackets

73 - 87 trucks, and HD trucks still use versions of it. You can get it in LED too. (and no, not the stupid led lamp replacement either)

Hmm, just found my next bed floor. That looks great and should be just as durable as oak.
