Road Trip info/advice wanted

Well I am picking up my new ride, a chevy 1/2 ton panel, from San Jose and I am driving it back to New Jersey. Anyone have any cool stops I should check out on my way home? I am stopping first in Hollister CA and then on to Vegas. After that its pretty up in the air. I cant decide which to take the northern route or the southern. Any ideas?

Thanks

Mac

i'd say b-4 trying to make a trip like that have info lined up on a major coast to coast shipping company so if something happens along the way you've got a backup plan

The trucks got a modern drive train so mechanically it should be fine. I do have the shipper lined up in case though.

If your going down to to Vegas then your already on the southern route. Midas well stop by the Grand Canyon from there. The only thing is the southern route may be pretty hot this time of year. Heading back up through Utah and Colorado though from Vegas would be a great trip, and head you back up North towards Indie. Man I'm jealous.
