Pardon my ignorance, but what is a zambonie? That mini buggy idea sounds cool!

Ever watch or go to an ice hockey game, go ice skating or anything? A Zambonie is a machine that smooths the ice.

Do you think it's possible to have that tach run on a diesel or is it only for a 4 cylinder?

I have never installed a tach on a diesel. Try contacting one of the diesel shops in your area or even sunpro or autometer or even summit. One of them is bound to have an answer. The model number is ST-506. Didn't see wires to cut or connect. (i.e. 3 wires for v8, cut one for v6, cut 2 for v4 or i4) But I am also sick as all hell, haven't been sick like this in years on years and didn't really feel like digging through the box of parts.
