Harmonic Balancer Torque Setting
What is the torque setting for the harmonic balancer on a 350? Book says 60 ft-lbs., but that seems low. Thanks for any help

Don't forget, the balancer is keyed and the hub should be a tight fit. I can't remember , but the bolt is only about 7/16 isn't it.???

60 is plenty. The bolt doesn't hold it on, the bolt just presses it onto the crank snout.

Torque range for 7/16-20 is 50-70 ft-lb. That is with motor oil as lube. I would use Loc-tite and torque to 60 ft-lb.
