New Board Software
Josh, when are you gonna switch to the new software and server. Everyday I wait for a new message board to pop up and it never does happen.
------------------ Nick Rodenberg Wellington, MO http://nickrod.port5.com You can click on "My 72 Chevy Truck" I have a 72 Cheyenne 10 with a V8 350 and a TH-350 auto-tranny. Ochre/White/Ochre Runs well... working on body. Plan to get painted weekend before memorial day weekend. Planned to be done March 7 when I turned 16. Didn't happen. Chose to do better job and be behind schedule instead of 1/2 doing it and it looking like junk.

Not very funny, although that WAS the consinsus of most of the guys that replied to that thread you're talking about.
I guess Josh CAN do whatever he wants with the donated money, BUT he asked for money to UPDATE TO A NEW SERVER for a YEAR. If thats what you expected from your donation, I guess you'll just have to wait to see if Josh will do what he said he will do. I hope he will so we won't be afraid to donate again...... |

I was under the impression that the donations were given to Josh so he could do what he wanted? I don't remember any promises given about when and where the donation would be used. BIG ORANGE, you must have given a big donation to be so concerned.

my two cents: I will get you into a p-4 server for under 1,000.00 - check out my website @ www.tpi-us.com I think you guys need to understand that nobody is trying to fool anybody. it takes time to do things. (I.E. look at your trucks, y'all)
it wont happen overnight. thanks |

Josh has everything worked out to do the upgrades, checks just need to clear the bank first.
And Josh DID NOT ask for the money. We all kinda pushed him into accepting donations. Nobody made anyone donate to the board. BigO you need to chill out. There are other boards to visit. ------------------

Hey Chev what are you trying to say.CHILL OUT! I'm CHILL and I didnt start this thread I just posted my reply like I have the right to do.And as far as there are other boards,if you got something to say, then say it.Chev it's know diferent when you made your remark back in the winter when I was lookin for a windsheild wiper motor seal and your reply was and I quote:WHY DONT YOU CHECK THE TRUCK SHACK OR KINKPARTS FOR IT.
Did I come back with any remark. (NO) And the time you made the coment about BIG71 Tony Perdue and I quote:OH KNOW ANOTHER BORING COMERCIAL. It's funny you come on here and reply to people's post with comments like that and these are just the ones that I really remember and then when someone post a reply your ready to attack. And your a ADMINISTRATOR now! People work hard for there MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!! And if people thought enough of me to send me large amount of MONEY for something that I was doing,I would promply post the total collected and were and how it would be used. But knowone twisted anyone arm. I guess its just people taking up for there friends.I know I have personal friends on here that I would probably speak up for also. Maybe we all need to CHILL OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The last thing we need is to fallout with one another, people have opinions and we are not gonna like them all the time. As far as the board I like it but its not the biggest thing in my LIFE. ------------------ BIG ORANGE 1971 SUBURBAN 1970/90-Little Buck's Truck (ONE DAY) USED TRUCK PARTS 4 SALE

I dont think its a right, its a privilege to use this board. Look at how long he has gone without donations of any kind. I have not sent any money in as of yet but I plan to. And when I do I will consider it a "payment" for the past year and a half that I have been using the board. As far as I am concerned we are all guests here and should not tell him how to run his business.

I am sure that Josh will get it and I am not upset or anything. Just patiently waiting in an excited way. Like waited for your Christmas presents when you are 5. Josh is a good trustable guy. It does take time. I was just curious.. thats all. As a new member i dont like to say alot. And I'm not trying to make any enemies; but come on guys give Josh a break. He spends more time and money keeping this up and running for all of us then most of you would ever be willing to do. I know some of us are anxious about the new board and I'm sure it'll be up and running as soon as he is able. As for the rest of you what if Josh got sick of hearing you crying daily and shut the whole site down...then where would we be. Personally I want to thank Josh and all the other administrators, moderators etc... for all their hard work.
