Can I see pics of a stock BB without the air cleaner on?

Hello BB Bretheren, I got a pile of hoses and tubes to put back on and I dont know where to start.

Maybe if I can see some pictures of other stock BB engines I an figure it out.

Can you spare a few pics for a brother who is confused?

Thanks

Thanks Bill

Thanks Bill, I'll take you up on that offer. If you want to send them direct, you can reach me at:

chaaz0@yahoo.com
or
chuck_rummler@wideopenwest.com

These are really gonna help.

If you or anyone else can help me with a picture of the vacuum hose arrangement on the back of the manifold, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Sorry to hijack but I noticed something, in one picture Bills72BB the vacuum for the vacuum advance is on the left of the carb and on the other 2 it on the right and in dwaite72lnghrn 3rd picture it on the right any reason why you picked one side over the other. Bills72 BB you must have tried it both ways witch is better?

With most HEI you would choose the ported vacuum (passenger side). I have run mine on both sides and it seems to run better on the full vacuum when stepping on the gas once you are moving. The full vacuum is like advance retarder low load high advance as the load builds advance drops off. In the ported side you have no advance to start and the advance really bounces when you first open the throttle(0" then 20" the it drops quickly as it opens). just my opinion.
