replacing bench seat w/other seats

Has any one here changed there stock bench seat with a set of late model buckets with the console?

I have found a company that makes a nice seat but it will be over 700.00 for the seat and brackets. I can go to a local salvage yard and buy almost new seats with the console for 350 ,and they are electric.

I have a '73 GMC with a well worn bench seat, and I am changing the color from green to Carmine Red with a Charcoal interior.
