Post Custom Alternator Brackets

Has anyone made their own custom upper alternator bracket for a 73 & up chevy motor. I like the ones that March Pulleys make, but they are a little pricey. It can be done for a lot cheaper. If anyone has done this, can you give me your measurements on the rod ends and tightening sleeve? Sorry so long, Thanks in advance.
