I've got a NV4500 out of a 92 or 93 2wd 1 ton I'd sell for $450. I'm about 150 miles north of St. L. Just outside of Kahoka, MO if ya wanna look it up on Mapquest or whatever.
I can send pics also.
LMK.

Did you ever find out if it is a NV4500 or NV3500?

How much you looking for for this?

2wd or 4wd?

Thanks!

Re: WTB NV 4500 Close to MO

The last pic is of the shift detents. One of them had been dented and wouldn't move up and down freely so I had to drill out the top to get it out. I still need to finish fixing it. It'll be a fairly simple fix. I was thinking of drilling it for a roll pin, (to hold the spring and plunger), and then JBing the top to seal it.

Edit; This is also the 6.34 1st gear version.

Re: WTB NV 4500 Close to MO

Would having to repair the shift detents effect the reliability of the unit, what does it do. I need this to be a reliable unit??

Other than that I will PM you about availability to possible pick it up

If you are talking about from your 1/2 ton that won't be the NV4500.

Mine is sold, (to 6600DURAMAX), and the one phantom dually posted would be a NV3500. (1/2 ton truck version).

If phantom dually's is sold PM me. A friend of mine has one he might sell. (NV3500)
