Strange Steering Problem
When driving my 89 Blazer down the road, it sometimes seems to want to wander in one direction or the other. The steering is all tight, new balljoints about 10K miles ago, 4" lift, just installed new shocks, 33" mud tires(had the same problem with normal 31" tires).
Could the toe-in be causing this? The isnt really any other adjustments right?

How much and how hard does it pull?..
With tires that big its bound to pull a little, as your tires are not going to fit right with the grooves on the road.. Have you tried it in a 100% flat surface like a parking garage or something?.. If its fine on a flat surface then everything is ok and you could add a steering stabilizer kit.. that would help. |

I agree with squint you'll get wander with tires that size and if you have any crosswind at hwy speed you'll have problems. One thing I noticed on my 4WD Jimmy, granted it's a T class and not lifted, but I have to make sure tire pressure has to be the exact same side to side or she tends to wander(I have that problem too but sadly haven't figured out my problem....lol).A steering stabilizer, whether a single or dual kit, will help a lot on hwy and give you less deflection, steering wheel kickback, offroad.
