OK, stick a fork in me. I'm done...
Well, I'm down to resorting to farming some work out. I just can't keep up with everything. Between helping out with an ill relative to USCG AUX activities to work and setting up the new house, I keep finding that there's only one of me to spread around.
The rear brakes blew out on the Suburban last night. Not the rubber flex line, but the hard line at the rear crossmember. At least it happened when I was moving it in front of the house, not on the open road. I'd been driving it all over town for two days, though. The front of the master cylinder went dry, too. ![]() I'm still doing the striker bushings myself, though. Between all of this stuff and the finish getting a bit oxidized and in need of Meguiar's Deep Crystal 3-Step, I've been feeling down about my truck. In reality, it's still in pretty good shape. It's just that my "to do" list is more than I can tackle myself right now. Oh, well. I just needed to vent to folks who actually understand...

Good luck Friend! I can sure appreciate being overloaded and spread too thin. Sounds like all your causes are efforts are noble. I hope it all works out.
