1/2 to 3/4 axle swap questions

Do I need to change any of my power brake parts when swaping to bigger axles? both have disk brakes any dif in master cly?

I'm going to say no on changing the master. Because Dana 44 disk calipers are the same between 3/4 and 1/2 tons. As long as you already have a disk/drum Master & P-valve it sould work. Maybe another member can add to this.

The only remaining questions would be are the rear axle brake cylinders the same between 1/2 & 3/4 ton axles? If they are different then a Proportioning valve from a 3/4 would be needed to be swapped in.

Probably be OK, but you need to look at the volume of they caliper and the size of the piston. More to it than just disc verses drum.
Try it, and see if it feels OK.
