Anyone have a cool 12 grand they can give me?
I was driving by this dealership yesterday and saw this 71 3/4 ton GMC. It's stunning!
Pretty stunning price too. http://www.ressler-chevrolet.com/4DL...100002/69131.5

Very nice looking truck. Did you look it over closely? Was it legit? Why so few miles...had it always been garaged or was this a resto? They probably gave the guy $500 on a trade in...DEALERS!!!!!!!!!

I looked at it casually. The salesman said the miles were original. When he heard I had a 68 he figured i should buy one that was already done instead of fixing up an old one. "It'd be cheaper" he said. I'll be in the area tomorrow and may look it over a little more closely.
The only thing I noticed that turned me off a little was the inside of the bed. They didn't really take the old paint off very well. You could see the old paint underneath the new paint. The inside of the bed was otherwise very clean and free of dents.

This post really caught my eye.
It looks as though it hasn't seen much daylight. I am not sure if they will get the asking price, but there sure aren't alot left in this kind of shape. I just need to win the lotto and it would be in my driveway. Who knows what kind of deal you might be able to work out at a delearship. You might be the first person to make out with a good deal. From the way it appears I truly believe to restore one to this condition would be close to the asking price. Maybe we could get someone to take some pics before it is put away for the next 30 Years.
