Thumbs up 50th Anniversary C-10

I was wondering if anyone could point me to the production numbers for 1968. I just bought a really nice C-10 and found out that it's a 50th anniversary edition. Paint code 4551 AA, model number CE10934, custom code 4Z62HC. I have posted some pictures of it when I first joined yesterday (Reference: New chevy guy from NM). I have found so much information from this awesome web site! Thanks to everyone who has helped directly and indirectly through other posts on the subject.

Re: 50th Anniversary C-10

Post some pics of your truck over here...you will get alot of good response. I am restoring two 50th Anniversary trucks. I can help you on the 68th trucks. You should order the restoration package from GM it has lots of info. It all depends on what you want to do with your truck however. If you want a hotrod, slam it and shave it, if you want it pure stock, maybe a 100 pt. restoration is in store. Welcome again.

Re: 50th Anniversary C-10

Production #s are hard to come by. I do know they made a lot of them as you still see them regularly around here. Some are longhorns, LWB and SWB. I would love to find a nice, tight, unrusted original for a restoration but most I see are beyond that point. 68 is my favorite year! Good luck and post some pictures---Huck
