Re: my sons painting my 69....

It getting along there rat...He's doing a good job. My son (6) is starting to show interest in doing things in the shop. Hope mine will be down and dirty with the welder someday also. I guess you won't be towing the 85 with it for a little while.

You, well, is he going to paint it the same color scheme?

Awesome. I hope to have my kids helping me when they're older. Currently, my oldest is 7 and she's a princess. My son's 5 and he's seriously looking forward to it.

Re: my sons painting my 69....

Nice start. Can't wait to see it done. I was going to say that I wished mine looked like yours and didn't have 3 crappy layers of paint and didn't have alot of bondo from the previous owners but then I saw the rust so we are about even. lol

Looking good Mark!!!!!! I remember when you bought that truck. On the one view deal, I don't think the new board is adding up all the views right yet. Can't wait to see your truck done!!!!

That is cool your son is able to help and paint it. That will save you some money that you can put into the truck in other ways. Gotta like that.

Re: my sons painting my 69....

Hey thats great. I always like seeing a kid helping out his or her old man out in the garage. Someday for me.

Oh and dont worry about the view count, like someone said before that part of the board is screwed up and only counts a view when someone posts

Pull the wheels off if you can while it's in the body shop. Try to find some old scabs to roll it around on.
