Question 67 fleetside drive line

this is a question to any one who can answer my drive line bering was messed up so i got a new one i just need me help getting it off and the new one on

I believe it has to be pressed on and off? I'll let someone who knows better to throw in there thoughts.

Question my driveline please help

I have a 67 fleetside longbox that need some work when i got it now im almost done. My question is regarding my driveline bering. I took out my driveline got a new bering I just cant get the out one off and the new one on. Do I need an gear puller or something I really dont know thanks all for the help

I did mine with a hammer and some sockets as drivers if I recall correctly but it's been a while. Might as well replace the u-joints while you're at it.

once you seperate the driveshaft at the u joint and remove the yoke bolt and yoke the bearing should just slide off you may have to tap on it a little to get it off.

Before you seperate the drive shaft halves, mark them so that you get them back together the way they came off so you don't have to rebalance the drive shaft. Krue is correct both in using sockets and hammer and replacing the 3 u-joints while you are at it. Good luck and keep on truckin'........Jerry
