woodgrain guage bezel?

Were these offered as a factory option or an aftermarket acc? Also, can you just buy an adhesive woodgrain face & stick it on a stock bezel? Thanks.

Re: woodgrain guage bezel?

The wood grain dash and matching glove box door aluminum overlay with wood grain was part of the Cheyenne Super and GMC Sierra Grande option package in 1971 and 72. GMC trucks often came with color matching dash bezels that matched the exterior of the truck.
You can use the plastic stick on overlays--they do have a tendency to shrink over time so don't get to excited when it happens. Clean the surface real good before sticking it in place. Huck
